BRIAN STRANGE, Director, is a prominent class action and complex litigation strategist. He has been involved in such noted litigations as the MGM Grand Hotel fire litigation; the “Crandall” gem case; the San Juan Dupont Plaza Hotel fire litigation in Puerto Rico; litigation arising out of the Iran-Contra scandal; and numerous consumer class actions against various banks, insurance companies and other corporate defendants, resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars returned to victims. He has lectured before the California State Bar, The Practicing Law Institute and The National Business Institute on class actions. Brian has been an active Board Member at Public Counsel since 2003. Public Counsel is the nation’s largest public interest law firm serving the underprivileged.
Brian has three children. His eldest daughter Brianna, age 17, began attending Simon’s Rock College of Bard in Massachusetts at age 16. His son John attends Malibu High School, was the youngest climber to ever climb Mount Vinson in Antarctica at the age of 12, and at the age of 16, John successfully conquered Mount Aconcagua, the world's highest mountain outside The Himalayas. His youngest daughter MacKenna, age 11, attends Malibu Elementary and is involved in school plays and loves animals. Brian contributes regularly to his community and local and state charities.
